Limited edition was a total waste

I feel I’ve been really let down as far as the extra content from LE. The extra codes don’t justify the added cost in the least. I entered all codes and they “unlocked” but I didn’t really get anything.

  • Forward Unto Dawn won’t play in WayPoint.
  • Early specialization armor didn’t open. (now it’s free)
  • Armor skin is lame
  • Early emblem tag is lame
  • A discount on new maps (is BS) of %15 doesn’t justify $50 fee.

I love HALO and don’t mind spending the money to support their team but this LE was worthless and it kind of pissed me off that they are giving away stuff that I paid extra for.
Don’t get me wrong the LE package stuff was fun and I like how they give the “inside look” on Spartan project. But, the DLC content was flat out worthless.

I say to 343, the game is fantastic and you did great with everything else but please work on the next LE package and give those who spend the extra cash something worth while. That’s why you get limited stuff, to feel you have something unique.

We are total opposites, personally, I bought it for the non game content, I love the universe, so getting more stuff to piece together cannon for me is worth it, anything in game is just icing on the cake, to each his own I suppose

With the map packs included, the LE is essentially $10 for a fancy box and a crappy poster.

The only thing that pushed me to buy the LE was the early specialization unlocks… which everyone is now getting early anyway.

So yeah, you’re right.

I’m happy i got the LE, having it was worth every penny .

When everyone was stuck at 70 and i was moving up .

I’m happy with my purchase of the limited edition version of Halo 4. I got armor, specializations, access to the map packs and a nice box.

It’s shiny.

I just wish they added more with the LE, especially since they priced it at $100. Mass Effect 2’s LE was priced at $70 and you got a making-of bonus disc, comic book, & art book.

Ah well, nothing we can do now. Let’s just hope the next Halo’s LE is a lot better content wise.
