Greetings,

I’m confused by the wording here:

“War Games Map Pack Access – The Limited Edition includes access to nine maps – three future competitive multiplayer map packs, each including three locations, available for download post-launch on Xbox LIVE.”

  1. Does this mean the standard edition ships with 9 fewer maps than the LE or are these DLC items TBD for a future date?
  2. Or is it an entire game mode that would be missing?

I’m sorry if this has already been answered, but I’ve spent 30-45 mins looking and haven’t seen the answer.

You get the 3 map packs that come out in the future after the game comes out for free on their release date.

War Games is not a game mode exclusive to the LE, it’s the new name for the competitive multiplayer. Both editions are shipping with the same amount of maps, the LE Map Pack access is for three multiplayer Map Packs that will be future DLC sometime after launch, available to everyone on Xbox Live. Think season pass, you’re just paying for the content in advance.
