[SOLVED] I Bought the HALO 5: Guardians Limited edition console the fotus armor is not unlocking.
Any ideas.

It seems everyone is currently having issues with Armor DLC not showing up in the game.
You could try Microsoft live support chat but they will eventually tell you to come back here. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
You could always post on the Halo Facebook and Twitter accounts that you are having problems redeeming your DLC.
1: Make sure you’ve entered the code for the armor and emblem.
2: Check your REQ packs. If memory serves me correctly, the armor and emblem came in a REQ pack.
Thank you for the reply, yes I checked the REQ pack only the emblem came up, still missing the armor. I’ll check on their page.

I bought the console before the launch of the game, and as soon as they released it I redeemed the code

All REQ Pack DLC was working as normal since the launch of the game (27th October 2015) until the year anniversary of it’s release on the 27th of October 2016. That’s when people started to have issues redeeming Fotus, Hunter, Dauntless and other REQ pack DLC. There may of been a 12 month expiry date on those DLC codes but this was not advertised or noted on packaging so people who are buying Halo 5 special edition consoles and controllers now are unwittingly purchasing something with an advertised promotional offer that does not actually work.

Hooooo, I did not know that.
I seriously doubt it has been done maliciously or in an under-handed manner, most probably an innocent careless oversight, but it is affecting customers and it would be remiss of 343 Industries not to address this issue as quickly as possible.

Did you put in the code? I looked around for a month but realized I never put in the code, since I’m an idiot. Maybe this happened to you? XD
Promotional REQ Pack DLC is still broken.

Yes I did, but reading those replies, make sense this broke state, well, I’ll try to call Microsoft since I bought the console, and its a limited edition it must work doesn’t matter when I activate.

Turns out that you do receive the armor, but it’s not instantly, takes 4 weeks for you to receive it.They send you 2 REQ packs per week for 4 weeks.
Now I got the full set.
