Limited Edition: Missing Specializations

I purchased the limited edition version. The exterior of the box reads “Launch Day Access To Six Specializations”. Weeks after launch, all specializations are locked, I do not have access.

Via another thread and by way of the Xbox Live help desk, I learn today that there is a prerequisite of reaching level 50 before the items you have access to are actually unlock. Can someone point me to this prerequisite printed on the limited edition box or on one of the inserts?

Did I miss the fine print or was this feature misrepresented in the advertisement?

All cards you got LE with must be redeemed.

I got the redeem (Which also gave me the Arctic BR skin) and the same thing is happening with me.

The Arctic BR skin is a pre-order bonus from Gamestop, not a LE bonus.

And to OP, you must enter a code found in a red packet in the limited edition box.

You receive launch day access (November 6), but you still must reach SR-50 before enlisting in a Specialization, you simply unlocked the other 6 specializations ahead of time. They were meant to be released one by one over a period of time.

I got the same thing… I have them all at the beginning but they where locked cuz i’m not 50 yet… But same as you just recently it doesn’t show the other specializations any more… Plus i go the LE version and all the codes are redeemed already…

Hi,

They’re still locked because you’re only rank 23. You need to reach rank 50 (i.e. complete your spartan-IV specialisation) before you can choose one of them.

You’ll be able to choose from any of the 8 when you do this (most people can only choose from 2 at the moment when they reach level 50).

Ah I get what you’re talking about.
Everybody has to reach rank 50 before they can begin a specialisation. The limited edition simply allows you to choose from the 8 specialisation, which one you would prefer to do first. By comparison, the standard edition only lets you choose from Wetworks and operator.
Hope this helps.

In answer to your question I think ‘launch day access’ is indeed misleading, since they applied a daily XP cap meaning it was impossible (obviously) to reach level 50 on launch day and use one of the 6 specialisations.

However, you certainly do have early access to them when compared to the vast majority of people - some have reached level 50, worked through the two available specialisations to reach level 70 and now can no longer progress, whereas you do not have this problem.

I am currently a level 67. I have been able to see all the specializations since day one. I couldn’t choose them when I was a lower level oorr when I already chose a specific specialization. I needed to complete the one I was one first, BUT I could still see all my choices. Now since today, I guess after the update, I can only see the ones I have chosen and the default operator. I can’t see all of them anymore. How to fix?

Maybe this doesn’t need a fix and they want it to look like this for you, (since the update).

Have you redeemed an early access specialisation code or not?

If not, I’m guessing the update was meant to remove them from your view until they release them later.

Yep, I redeemed the limited edition specialization code on day one. I wouldn’t have seen the six additional specializations if I didn’t. I would have only seen two (operator and wetwork). I actually got the specialization email gift also in which I redeemed not knowing what it was for. so either way, I would qualify.

Have you tried account management - download history and redownloading it?

If yes, then I’m not sure how to help. Try posting in the stickied/pinned issues thread.

I tried that already but it only works temporarily, after restarting, they disappear again. This problem started after the update, before that, I could see them normally.

P.S. I didn’t change the e-mail’s code. I gave it to a friend because I have the Limited Edition already. This could be the reason?

I have also done that. But I can’t even see them anymore, not even for a little bit. Also after the update. Under the download history it should be named “infinity actual kit” to my understanding.

I’m having the disappearing thing with mine. I bought the limited edition and could look at the other 6 specialization that i got with it. I updated my halo 4 recently and now i can’t see them, and i have already tried the redownloading. Any ideas?

i have redeemed the pre ordered email for 6 specializations, there were all the at first but when i chose a specialization and completed it, there were no more specializations to choose from they all disapeared PLAESE HELP OR REPLY THANKS
