just watched the unboxing of the limited edition and i gotta say im very dispointed, i thought the stuff on the spartan 4s would be more in depth instead its just a poster…,an avatar item and specializations that you still have to get to level fifty before you can use any of them…the FUD extensions hardly seems worth it, the only thing can see as worth the money are the map packs but even then its hardly a good deal…thanks for nothing 343, atleast reach came with a statue, it should have atleast come with an exclusive helmet or armor…this just comes with some crappy papers that are still nothing compared to halseys journal in reach or the helmet for halo 3…just fail…

Still sticking with it but got really peeved when they said they were going to allow EVERYONE ELSE -EARLY- access to those six specilizations as long as they went online by the 20th of November. Come-on! Its not why I got LE but hey, you can’t just advertize “exclusive” access to something for paying for a more expensive package when you will just release it to pretty much everyone. Honestly! Who is NOT going to be online on Halo 4 on the very night of its release.

They need to be what their name suggests. Limited and exclusive and thus a lot harder to get and more worth it. Aside from editions though the game itself still looks to be an awesome work, especially considering this is 343i’s first Halo game they’ve made in full by themselves without Bungie and it does look very good.
i thought the spartan 4 info was gonna be like a whole booklet on the armor,augments, and history but its just a stupid poster…seriously disapointed, and no armor or helemets for L.E buyers is such crap…

I like it. But that’s mainly because of the extra stuff I can have when I’m bored. Plus, I don’t generally get MSP so I don’t get map packs as often. With the 3 free map packs. I don’t have to worry about getting money now. Plus I’m into tricking out my avatar so that helps too.

Dont get it then!! I remember when i got my very first limited edition of a game. It was Halo 2. and all it really came with was a tin case and a bonus disc with a bunch of stuff id more or less allready seen. But it was awesome! Ive bought limited editions of every halo game since, including ODST, which doesnt really count but hell i still use that controller to date. Limited edition doesnt mean, you get a whole bunch more than anyone else, it means it is cooler than the standard edition, and there is limited stock of it. Hence why nearly everywhere is sold out… Even if it came with nothing but a cool case id buy it, you know why, because im a halo fan…
It’s worth it to me. I’m getting 3 map packs, which will run 30+ dollars later on. The rest, specifically Forward Unto Dawn, is worth 10 dollars to me. And I pre-ordered at Best Buy, so I get a 20 dollar gift card, according to YouTube ads. Same for Reach. I got 20 dollars back.

so they are pretty much giving everyone early access to the armor specializations?..changing my order…thats it…screw you 343 ill play your game only because i love halo but i have lost all respect for the company…WAY TO SCREW YOUR FANBASE FROM THE START!!
Yeah im pretty pissed off too, i don’t know if i want to go downgrade to the SE or keep it, honestly downgrading doe not sound like a bad idea to me…i won’t feel ripped off. 343 could have at least given a little more insight and tell us whats going on, its a shame i know a ton of people cancelling the LE now…so oh well.
Edit: I wish they would just give us LE buyers a little something more Exclusive/limited.

Im just pissed that game companys STILL keep putting ‘‘exclusive content’’ for their ‘‘limited’’ editions but ALWAYS end up having tons left over months after the release date and all that ‘‘exclusive’’ content is always given out not even afew months later…to me its just like slapping the entire fanbase in the face… i hate game companys that do this crap and if 343 plans on doing this from the start it really concerns me that they may continue to sell out the community to make acouple extra bucks anywhere they can…
