So I bought halo 4 limited edition and put in the install disk and installed the content. It then told me to put in the halo 4 disk so I did but when I got into halo 4 I did not get anything from the limited edition. What did I do wrong?
The install disc comes with all copies of Halo 4, standard and limited. It’s the multiplayer content. The limited edition content is a code in the box, the specializations will become accessible once you hit Sr50 and the you will get the map packs as they release in the coming months.
The disc you put in installed the Halo Content. If you’re looking for your extra limited edition swag check inside the box for a little red packet. Inside you should find a glossy piece of card with several codes on the back.
You can either enter the codes on your Xbox or type them here https://live.xbox.com/en-US/redeemtoken (I prefer the second method, keyboard is alot easier). After you’ve downloaded it (very small download) you should be able to access them in game.
