I could not find any other forums regarding this issue, and I did not see it being addressed on the FAQ. The card that comes with the Limited Edition version of Halo contains the code that gives access to specializations, armor, and future map packs. The armor and specializations are only available to the profile who put the code in, which was not stated on the card that contained the code that came with Halo 4 Limited Edition, and was not stated when the code was entered into the “Redeem Code” section in the Xbox dashboard. The licensing stated that all profiles on the Xbox are able to use the content contained within the code. The reason that my brother and I had purchased Halo 4 Limited Edition as opposed to the standard edition was so that we could both use what came with the Limited Edition. Instead, only one of us is able to use the Limited Edition bonuses.
I am looking for either a way to fix the issue so that the Limited Edition items are available for all profiles of the Xbox, legal action because of the misleading terms of use, or a refund of my game.
I enjoy playing Halo 4, but having the Limited Edition is not worth it if only one person is able to use the DLC.
