I’ve been searching for an answer everywhere and can’t find a clear one. I’m interested in buying the LE Halo 4 console but want the LE game content. All I’ve seen is the console comes with the standard copy of Halo 4. Is there a comparison somewhere on what comes with what. Seems like the map packs are just free when they’re release on Xbox live or do you get them early with the LE game?
I find it rather stupid that the LE console doesn’t come with the LE version of the game.
Maybe you could call nearest gamestop or some store where you would buy the game.
I’m pretty sure that the console only comes with its own content; the fotus armor, the fotus avatar, the unicorn emblem and an avatar prop.
I could see your issue with getting a standard edition with the console instead of LE but they need to insentivize getting the LE too. I know i’ve already pre-ordered both. You could always think of it this way, if it had the LE Halo 4 game the price might have been higher.
I personally think its too bad it has to come with a copy, but I can give it away if need be.

Done that. Like any other time I’ve had a question for a Gamestop employee the had no answer. I’m more concerned with the maps. The other non game affecting things I don’t care about. Meh, guess I’ll just get the LE version of the game. They should sell it with 1 controller and the LE version of the game. Maybe I’ll drive over to Redmond and ask Microsoft.
