My brother bought halo 4 legendary edition and put all the codes that come with it into his profile, Thinking that it would be shared with anyone using the xbox (like the flaming helmet was in legendary edition of halo reach) but this isn’t the case. Quite frankly I think that is stupid. I’m not going out to buy another copy of halo 4 limited edition just to get Arctic rifle and some specializations… so in the slight (VERY VERY VERY slight) chance that a 343 employee sees this. it would be nice if those limited edition codes were shared to everyone on the xbox (like every other game that has DLC)
That MAJORLY sucks, I bought the special edition also, without pre-order (yes I was there before everyone else and got lucky) and don’t have xbox live yet, so I haven’t used the codes, I’m ok with regular skins, but I was wanting for me and my friends that come over about daily to have prime also, and the specializations, that a blow to the chest, and plus Spartan Ops doesn’t even work offline, without a gold account either!

Well Spartan ops does have videos that are released every week so it’s not like they’re just being greedy saying that you have to have a gold account, it’s just impossible to because you need to download those videos.
> Yeah! It sucks that the non-multi use advertised items go to the person who bought them only!
But see, when you enter the codes it says that the items are available for use by anyone on the console. See here and here. The only things that specify that they are account locked are the avatar items, just like they were in Halo Reach. That is what everyone is so mad about - it is not working the way that it claims it should.

not to mention my brother just noticed that he was using Arctic skin for TONS of game but it wasn’t showing up… WTF IS THAT!!! get your crap together 343
I totally agree. If they would of included a armor or effect you can get off the limited edition they would of had all of them brought very fast. When Halo Reach legendary edition came out and it was said you get the Flaming Helmet I pre orderd it as fast as I could. Luckily I brought the Black Ops 2 care package edition because it comes with a weapon camo ;).

Ah okay, my apologies. Now THAT is a problem.
Though if it didn’t say that, I would still say tough luck and deal with it. Them saying that it’s available for everyone though is an ENTIRE different can of worms

As far as you’re arctic BR not showing up, try resetting your xbox. It happened to me before and when i hopped back on the next day it was in the loadout customization screen.
