So, I was recently unboxing my Limited Collector’s Edition of Halo 5: Guardians, (Yeah, i know I’m opening it so late as I have been lately with the new Halos since #3, when I should be playing already… Destiny has kinda been keeping me busy
) I’d also watched a couple unboxings of this edition on YouTube, and noticed how there’s supposed to be a changeable head for Spartan Locke that goes in place of his helmet. Well, I’m pretty sure I didn’t drop anything anywhere or on the floor, and my box, from GameStop, was perfectly sealed, everything in its place inside the box, but no head! I did, however, notice some tape on the bottom on the Spartan Locke side of the statue. Now, I don’t believe this is even meant to be opened, call me crazy, but could that be where they pt this piece? Thinking this, I shook this piece gently, no rattle/sound. I’m way confused. Can anyone give me any info here who got this edition as well so I know whether or not I’m actually missing something? Again, please leave a reply back if you have this edition and an helpful, possible info!
UPDATE: NEVERMND! I figured it out after double checking my history for the unboxing videos on YouTube, found the hidden compartment. SOLVED!
(I’m a complete goof at this stuff, think this is maybe the 2nd r possibly 3rd time I thought maybe something was missing, seemed like something was out of place or problematic)
Haha this was kinda awesome to read.
I need to figure out where to put these guy… friggan huudge.
I do too as well. My Reach statue I still don’t even have a place for, so both are in heir boxes. It’s too bad Halo 4 didn’t have a cool statue (with GameStop anyway to the best of my knowledge) I do have the console from each, though. Only 1s I hadn’t had the $ for were Halo 2 and 3 consoles. I invested so much in each since Halo 3, each edition; LCE and CE for 3 and Reach, Colector’s for Halo 4, LCE and CE as well as the console, of Halo 5: Guardians. My figuring was 1st we knew nothing about why no game disc with LCE so I reserved LE as well, then the disc exchange program was hinted but my stuff was already paid off, and we still have no idea if it’s a standard edition disc or, I’d presume collector’s edition because each 1 I got (didnt bother to buy standard for the obvious reasons) has the same collector’s tin, wit the only difference being LCE and console bundle have the digital code rather than the disc. So with that in mind, I wasn’t going to make a big thing of it with the digital code/disc exchange and cancel colledor’s ed knowing It comes wih the disc
Glad to hear that you’re not missing anything!
Yeah, t’s a relief. Like Is aid, I think something similar happened with the earlier 1s, but everything was there as it should’ve been. Though when ODST had come out, was at the midnight opening, the couple guys were handing stuff out so fast I completely forgot about the digital code for that Sgt Johnson, it wasn’t until we were only a few minutes away from the mall and I realized I forgot that, and ended up having to go back the next day to get 1.
