i think it would be cool if you got hurt enough on one limb it would cripple like fallout
would make running away harder if you had crippled legs
and would make aiming harder if you had crippled arms
but if you got a health pack all limbs would be healed
just and idea
It would be complicated for MM and how the hell would u cripple a spartan in the first place?! They can survive freefall from orbit and still walk! (sometimes)
Maybe in an infection custom game but not campaign, spartan ops or multiplayer matchmaking.

As i love Bethesda and theyâre RPGs this just isnât right for Halo, and wonât happen. Sorry
Well there are no Stinpacks in Halo, so doubt it.

If theyâre lucky
Not going to happen. Plus there are no health packs in the game.
Well, that feature would probably get very annoying in Halo. But isnât there a canon reason that they heal?
Isnât it that the Mark VI Armor automatically inject biofoam into wounds?
Wonât happen, this is a shooter. It would be good for a RPG shooter like Fallout. Arenât they making a multiplayer version of that anyways?

I donât think so. This mechanic would be nice in most other shooters, but freedom of movement and simple âaim for the head after shields dropâ strategy is what allows the creativity in combat that Halo is known for.

its not really that creative

I think so.

yea but what if a sniper bullet flies thru the Spartanâs knee?

Spartans were not made to be crippled, son! But a good idea!

Notice I said âallows forâ. Simplicity in general gunfights allows for players to do whatever they want to make a kill (rather than developers giving players a bunch of already-thought-of and designed-in tactics). This, coupled with interesting map design and good freedom of movement gives players a ton of combat options, forming pretty complex games without a lot of complex combat mechanics.

people would play them same they would just move slower and aim worse when crippled making it hard but making them have to think and stuff. i donât know it was just an idea. people play fallout really good so i donât think anyone would have trouble playing with the cripple thing.

Yeah, I think itâs definitely an interesting idea, but I donât think it would work with the way Haloâs core gunplay is set up.
