Halo Infinite is the first time I’ve truly played Halo’s multiplayer. Up until this point I had only played the campaigns and local split screen multiplayer (huge reason why I didn’t like Halo 5 and quit playing Halo altogether after its release). All of my opinions are listed below.

Gameplay is enjoyable with lots of fun weapons and equipment (I especially like the grapple).
-
I do like the cosmetics as most of them are pretty cool looking.
-
Since some of the challenges can be quite difficult, I have really been thankful for the challenge swaps.

I wish I could change the color of my spartan like you could in past games.

It takes way too long to level up the battle pass, especially without weekly challenges.
-
I would also like the weekly/ultimate challenges to be somewhat easier/skill-based, rather than pure luck based like the ultimate challenge was.

I also wish there was some sort of indicator that could have told me that a challenge swap wouldn’t work on the ultimate weekly challenge. I got so frustrated with it that challenge I spent $5 just so I could have the credits I needed to level up once only to find out challenge swaps, when used on ultimate challenges, don’t work. Instead of saying I can’t use them for this, the game just gave me an error message saying something went wrong with the transaction. I then ended up in these forums looking for this issue only to find that I had wasted $5 on something that couldn’t be used the way I wanted to and I could have just leveled up normally instead.

Last but not least, I noticed some of the weapons are inconsistently insta-kill weapons. For example, when I used the shock rifle for the first time in Fiesta mode, I hit a headshot that resulted in an instant kill. Every time I landed a headshot after that only resulted in knocking out the opponent’s shield a little bit. Same goes for the gravity hammer. I’ve been instantly killed by it while flying over someone using it (this happened when I used a jump pad on Behemoth), but when I go for the same kill at the same distance I have to hit said player twice before they die. This last one could just be because I’m bad at the game, but I saw some similar complaints online.
Overall, despite the lack of likes, my experience with Infinite’s multiplayer was the most fun playing in PvP I’ve had in a while (for reference, the last game I played was OW these past two years) with some issues that could easily be fixed.
