Change the credit cap to at least 200,000 Cr.

200k is a joke. I could probably hit that in 8 hours. There shouldn’t be cap at all. Ban the AFKers and let the addicts have their credits.
We don’t know what the new cap is. BS angel tweeted it was “substantial.” I’m thinking them doubled it, but until we get some people to cap out consistently at a known number everyone is just guessing.

cR doesn’t mean anything at all.
I think it should rise as you go through the ranks to help compensate for the more credits required.

To avoid spreading misinformation about the CR cap, i’m repeating what has been said on the waypoint reach forums: The Credit cap HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED. The tweets about 343 doing so are wrong. Every forum goer who keeps track of their CR has gained only 120k per day, not 1 cr more, not one less. So unlike what BS angel said, i’ve been gaining only 120k cr on the 5th, 6th,7th and 8th of december.

You act as though 8 hours isn’t a long time for gaming. Damn, i played for at least four hours at times and i have to try my balls off to hit the credit cap. As of late, i have not.
I’m at a loss as to how you lot manage to hit the cap at all.
For those of you sitting at home: some maths to back up my point. Bear in mind I’m also erring on the side of generosity here, as well as using averages:
Assume Credit Cap at 120,000cR (c)
Assume Daily Challenges at 12,000cR daily (d)
Assume average game payout at 3500cR (p)
Assume average game length at 12mins (l)
First, we subtract our Challenges from our Cap, since they count towards the Cap threshold:
(c) - (d) = 108,000cR (nc)
So. We have 108,000cR with which to play with. Assuming our average game payouts as explained above, how many games do we get out of that?
(nc) ÷ (p) = 30 games.
30 games daily. Now we take a look at how long it’s going to take us to play those thirty games:
(l) x 30 = 360 minutes (or, six hours)
That’s right, ladies and gentlemen. Discounting Weekly Challenge payouts, raising Commendations a tier, or payout enhancements, you’re looking at six full hours of gameplay in order to hit that limit. Significantly less, if you’re boosting Custom Challenges or exploiting the playlists to boost Commendations.
Let’s cut a long story short: if you’re hitting the cap on a daily basis, you’re doing it wrong. Either you’re boosting, or you need to get outside and remind your lungs how actual, fresh atmosphere feels.
But, to play advocacy: 343i, raise the cap at your own risk, but I wouldn’t suggest it be by more than 30,000cR.
If you are a a reclaimer or higher FF gives you 10,500 k plus a games and thats not including challenges/custom challenges/or weekly challenges! But you have to make sure you play the average time of 15 minutes a game.
so you are averaging 40k a hour, yeah 4 hours is long but that is how much time some people have. if you are lower then that then Nova, yes you are right, 6 to 9 hours longer on the xbox…Btw AFKING in ff will result in a reset of rank or ban from Cr temporally!

I don’t really understand what the point of this condescending tone is. The credit system is there for those who want to use it. Sure you may dislike how some people choose to spend their time, but it’s ultimately their choice. You are neither my parent, my guardian, my state, my healthcare or anyone to me therefore i’d prefer you keep you remarks about what i should and shoudn’t do with my own time to yourself.
Finally, to raise the cap by only 30k is pointless. The whole issue with the cap is that the CR per game scales with your rank. As a private, reaching 120k would be 15+hrs of gameplay, yet as a nova reaching 120k is 3hrs30min. The cap increase is meant for those who reach it daily, and those of us who do 30k means about 40more mins. Pointless.

You obviously know nothing. Firefight pays 8-10k per game at higher ranks. There’s no excuse for limiting people who play legitimately all -Yoink- day. It’s BS.
