Ok, so there has been quite the discussion about the lightrifle being single shot, as well as a 3 shot burst.
Honestly, I’ve watched every video possible on the lightrifle being only single shot while zoomed in or not.
So if someone can link me proof of the 3 shot lightrifle mode, I’d really appreciate it.
Also, what has made everyone feel as though it had an alternate fire mode?
The Lightrifle that was seen during E3 was, well, an E3 build. Things have changed.
In the campaign demo, it was a one-shot head-shot kill whilst zoomed in.

Precisely, I’ve heard a lot of people on thes forums claim to have a 3 shot burst while not zoomed in. As well as having a single powerful shot where zoomed in.
I just wanted to ask because ive seen it brought up a bunch, and we haven’t seen it since what, E3?
1 big shot zoomed in. 3 shot burst zoomed out.

Not really…the player hit the target several times before the last shot…

But the shots fired were single shots every time instead of three round bursts. That’s what the OP was asking and what Tomo was talking about.

And how do you know this is fact?
I would believe you, see, but there hasn’t been any proof of that statement, which is why I’m asking about it on the forums.
You can’t just say something is how you want it to be, and expect it to happen.

You can see that it isn’t a burst weapon by looking at the ammo count in the E3 demo.

Maybe THIS will prove my point.
Go to 7:55 and you will know exactly what I’m talking about.
For all intents and purposes it is a single shot. It fires in “bursts” unscoped but it only ever takes up one ‘round’ at the time whether it is scoped or unscoped.
I am sorry for being a noob, I have NEVER seen that video, and I thought I’d seen everything!
Thanks for the responses people, and I appreciate this!
Totally Awesome that it has 2 fire modes!
