LightRifle? Shouldn’t it be Light Rifle? Like everything else with rifle in it’s name, Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle, Designated Marksman Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Storm Rifle, Concussion Rifle, Beam Rifle, Binary Rifle, Light… LightRifle? FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU!!! I hope its just a spelling error…

I’m pretty sure they did it on purpose. BSangel spelled it that way in the bulletins at least. I think the idea is to distinguish it from a “light rifle” (as in a rifle that is light in weight), rather than a Lightrifle – a rifle that shoots light. Eitherway, having the capital r in the middle of the word is dumb looking. And LightRifle is an incredibly uncreative name to begin with (thought it’s not surprising considering the amount of creativity that went into the rest of the Promethean weapons).
Should have named it… “Hardlight Rifle” everything related to prometheans and forerunner in Halo 4 is full of hardlight bridge, walls, decorations and such anyway.

How is this ironic? It takes one guy going into a file and hitting his space bar. Then going “okay guys, ready to patch”.
So, it’s ironic that a fix that takes 3 seconds gets fixed before something that takes substantially longer and more manpower?

not to mention a lot of money, you have to pay about $40,000 just to patch your game on xbox or ps3…

IMO I think it was adjoined because the Lightrifle isn’t a lighter rifle than other’s (speaking strictly in terms of weight) I think it’s called the Lightrifle because it shoot’s beams of Hard Light, That’s my only defense and I’m sticking to it. 
My guess is if people seen Light Rifle with the space they would lean towards thinking it was a UNSC weapon.
I honestly don’t really agree with my previous post but that’s the only defense I can come up with… 
I would be more fond if they came up with name’s as complex yet smooth, fluid yet distinctive as the way Forerunner’s seem to exist.
A simple Light Rifle doesn’t seem to suffice me, this is an Ancient species which we’ve now known has existed for more than a hundred thousand years. Surely they would have come up with something more exuberant than Boltshot, Suppressor, Light Rifle(O wait, it’s spelled Lightrifle… :/).
