I may have this wrong, but doesn’t every weapon that you can have a skin, it’s for Custom Classes? or can Rocket Launchers have skins also, and when you pick the weapon up, the skin goes onto it?

so I think this just confirmed the LightRifle is a Custom Class weapon choice for Custom Classes. which I can’t see possible/not overpowered. the LightRifle has the clip size of a Carbine, shoots as fast as the DMR, and when zoomed in shoots even more powerful. that sounds more like an personal ordnance drop/power weapon.

either way, a skin for a Promethean weapon? that’s got to look different.

I can’t say I’m surprised, but that’s awesome as long as they get it nice and balanced (which I’m sure they will).

the light rifle has a 45 ammo/battery/whatever clip, but fires in 3 rnd bursts for a total of 15 shots per clip. whats this you say? it can fire a stronger, single shot when zoomed? guess what, the zoomed single shot does 3 ammo/battery/whatever worth of dammage and uses 3 ammo/battery/whatever when you fire it, so you still have 15 “shots”. so basicly all the single-zoomed shot does is give a tighter spread then the burst fire, for longer ranges. also the E3 build is not final, so there still fixing the balancing.

The rail gun will be the new precision power weapon, it would be redundant to have two utility precision weapon PW’s. I like the idea of a Light rifle as a primary, seeing as how its kind of like the H2 Demo BR in function its a dream come true for alot of us who wanted to see a cross between the CE Magnum(or DMR) and BR.

Seems like it may be a primary. I myself was hoping it would be a mid-tier power weapon available through ordinance drop only, but I guess it being a primary choice makes sense. I think the repeater will be a primary as well as you can see on the back of the thrusterpacking spartan in this picture, http://tinyurl.com/ccuzdvd (scroll down to armor abilities).
