Light vs Dark Red, Blue mp armor colors

I’m just going to say it.
Personally, I hate the new blue and red colors 343i has used in the mp.
They’re brighter and a little to “light-blue, light-red” for my taste.
I preferred the darker blue and red colors of Halo 3. It was easier to make out spartans on the field and wouldn’t be so easily masked by the sunlight or other environmental factors. And lastly, they just look better as darer blues and reds.

Anyone else agree? Disagree?

Yeah I agree. I guess it’s not really that big a deal, but still I’d prefer darker colors.

Indeed, I also dislike the colors. Light-tish red, more like pink

I hated the blue from Halo 3, it was far too dark and allowed players to easily blend with the shadows. I’ve never had issues with seeing players, red or blue, in Halo 4 thus far. I hope 343 sticks to the lighter colors with future games.

The colors are perfect finally. A little more deepness to them would be great, but otherwise it looks real good, no problem seeing the enemy team, perhaps it’s your TV. I just switched from a Panasonic plasma 720p to a Vizio LED 1080p, made a world of difference.

Reach is the second best, as it is 3’s shades of the two with a bit more detail.

The problem I have with H4’s color scheme is they’re all just a tad too hot. They appear too shiny in-game (though oddly less so in screenshots). I prefer Reach’s color palette… it wasn’t as bright, and the darker colors seem to have allowed more detail and texture to appear visible.

Donut finally got through to Red Command. Now if he could only get them to accept that new definition of “fire in the hole.”

Halo 4’s team colors were too light, but Halo 3’s were too dark. I think Halo 2 had it right.

I liked the red and blue colours in every game up until Halo 4. It all looked much better with a darker tone rather than everything being of a pastel nature. In the first footage of multiplayer that we saw, they had dark red and blue, but for whatever reason, they changed it to what we have now. It’s a shame, really…

Same here. In Halo 4, blue armor looks ice colored, while red is basically pink. Personally, I liked how team colors looked in Halo 3, where it wasn’t as light as it is now, but it also didn’t look too dark either.
