Light Rifle? WORTHLESS AT ANY RANGE IF SHOT

The flinch on this gun is ridiculously bad when getting shot at, you’ll never outgun another player at long distance if they’re using a DMR. I even went through the trouble of completing the Rouge spec just to find out that stability DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO COUNTER IT.

lolwhut? You used to get knocked out of scope when shot in past games, it’s bad enough that you aren’t now, but people want it reduced? LR recoil is fine as it is. I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing an increase to the DMR recoil though.

It’s a balancing thing. Go rogue if you have a problem with it.

Well that’s why I’m complaining about it, the LR’s recoil is like hell compared to the DMR’s recoil. Either the LR’s recoil need’s toned down, or the DMR’s recoil need turned up. I’d personally rather have the DMR’s recoil turned up, that way the BR could compete with it at medium range.

You’re joking right? How about you read my -Yoink!- post. I already completed Rouge and the stability mod doesn’t help at all.

I would be interested in seeing a side by side video of it with rogue and without. Not saying it does help or not, just interested to see how much if any.

Rogue is a joke. I picked this as my first because of said issue… Does nothing. This game is horrible.

So how does the stability perk work then? I thought it would negate flinch entirely. Is it just minimal, or are you noticing no difference?

I’m not noticing any difference.

I found the BR works a bit better with stability.
Other than that. Nothing.

None. I didn’t notice anything.

It fires quickly, and a 4-shot kill at any distance. Out DMRs even the most skilled DMRers. LightRifle FTW.

Just try it in a custom game, the flinch is drastically reduced.

do you even LR? it isn’t a 4 shot kill unscopped. in fact it takes more time to kill someone with the LR when unscopped than with a BR.

as someone whose most used gun IS the LR, I can tell you you’re wrong.
statistically it does beat the DMR, but if you get shot back (by someone with a DMR/BR) the flinch is HUGE and makes you impossible to fight back).
also it is worthless unscopped but that’s another matter.

Flinch and recoil are two completely different things. Flinch is when you’re getting hit, recoil is the kick back of the gun. Which one are you talking about?

Anyway, it’s a shame Rogue doesn’t seem to do anything, as It was going to be my next choice.

When I read posts like this I only shake my head in disgust. This is the 2nd post into the thread and painfully obvious the poster did NOT even bother to read the opening post.
