Light rifle, why it sucks

When you pull the trigger why is there a delay so you have to lead your shot unlike the dmr which is pinpoint accurate. Every time I give the light rifle a chance ad I zoom in for a long distance kill I can’t kill them but if I use the dmr I kill them every time the gun is pointless to use unless they take the delay out so it’s more accurate.

I maxed out my DMR commendation so I switched to the light rifle and have had no issues racking up kills.

light rifle is my favorite weapon. i have no idea of what you are talkin about

I know what you mean.

But I think this rewards the very skilled players that can master it’s delay.

Since they can hit that 4 shot everytime its a beast in their hands.

The bullets are delayed so much.

Plus when an enemy is running you have to kinda lead your
shots. Also it feels like all my shots dont always go straight.

By the time you are even able to 4 shot someone they will out dmr you
almost every time.

Its a good weapon from far range but up close its hard to
get your shots to go where you want. The ammo also goes by really fast in
it so idk i dont think its thats great.

DMR and BR beat it by a mile. Lightrifle can be used to get some kills
but i feel like it could use a little buff.

Do you mean slower rate of fire? Sure, but a bit higher damage than the DMR too as it seems. Cant say I have noticed that you have to lead targets? Not 100% though, havent used it in that many matches yet to set a final judgement of it.

I actually think it’s great. It seems to work as a Long Range weapon as it was intended. I always dominate with it in BTB.

As long as you land at least one scoped shot, the weapon will kill faster than the DMR. It is a balanced long-range rifle that rewards players that are good with it.

I’ll have to agree about the delaying, but I’ve never used it in multiplayer (haven’t played mp yet). It feels awkward when shooting.
