Since i have to work and can’t be at home right now testing it out myself i figured i’d ask the community. I’ve been reading a lot of complaints about how OP the DMR is and how underpowered ever other rifle in its class is but i never see much talk about the light rifle. From what i’ve read it sounds like its superior to other rifles at long range since it only takes 4 shots instead of 5 like the others. I can see that people wouldnt like it as much up close since it takes an extra shot compared to every other rifle.
TL;DR Is there anyone out there that actually uses the light rifle or has tested it out. I’m just looking for some feedback since i havent read much about it.
I personally love the light rifle. Yes, it takes a extra shot up close but that doesn’t mean you will lose to all the other guns. The 4 shot kill while scoped wouldn’t be that big of a deal if you were knocked out of scope when shot. Over all I would say it’s the 2nd best starting gun in the game behind unfortunately the most boring the DMR.
Dmr is better faster rof but I’ve used the light rifle abit its better then the dmr its rof unzoomed is slow and zoomed in its slow and it does dry out of ammo faster even with ammo when u zoom in to kill faster more shots are used up its really a trade off the light rifle is the best but has flaws where as the dmr really has no flaws at all
Really comes down to personal preference dmr is the best above all
I love the light rifle. My only complaint about it is how transparent the reticle is. I cant count how many times I’ve popped someones shields from long range but couldn’t get that final headshot because i couldn’t see where the center of the reticle was.
Cool I’m deffinatly going to try it out later. I didn’t like the DMR too much in reach and i use to love the BR but since it isnt single shot when zoomed it makes it crap at range. The light rifle looks like the old school BR with maybe some ammo issues.
