Yea, but Light Rifle (ZOOMED) is a 1.3 second kill
BR=1.6 secs
DMR=1.6 secs
So zoomed, you could get the kill faster, unzoomed your kill time with the Light rifle is 1.8 secs.

Back OT: Yup Light rifle is better scoped in on paper, but I think the other rifles will perform better overall due to hitscan.
I think medium range, BR and DMR will win the fight.
Long Range would have to go to LR.
Close range would go to the BR and DMR again.
So i think in most situations BR and DMR are gonna be awesome. But these maps look big, so LR can really do some damage.
The BR and DMR can fire every 10 frames scoped and unscoped.
The LR fires every 11 frames unscoped which kills in 55 frames so thats 1.8 secs a kill granted you hit the enemy everytime and fire it as fast as it can be fired.
But the LR scoped, shoots and kills something within 40 frames and it shoots faster like the BR and DMR at every 10 frames. So you could kill them in 1.3 secs…

Traditionally, it’s always been more powerful than the BR 1v1, and I’m thinking it may also be better than the DMR too.

Oh ok, is that due to Halo 4 being tweaked since then, cause it seemed accurate.

The DMR has little to no aim assist once close-mid range, so the Light Rifle will destroy it. For BR fights at mid range, zoom in with the Light Rifle, and the 5sk Turd can’t do anything, especially with Stability on.
the Light Rifle is the best weapon in the game. Only that that defeats it is the DMR from long range.
