Light changes for helmets and for armors.

343 please allow us to change the color of the lights for armors and helmets, especially for those helmets that you can’t change the visor like a certain helmet I like to wear but can’t change the color of the light that’s coming out of it’s visor. Look at how cool the orange color for this certain helmet’s visor looks.

Link. Certainly a interesting idea. I would love to see it added as well as a more in depth customization system.

First and foremost, they need to give us black techsuits. Allowing us to change the color of the lights would be nice, but the techsuit color has been a problem since Halo 4.

I would use green lights.
Or just classic blue.

Not white! With extra white paint all over armors.

I have so many proposals for the customization system. My ideas include the following:

  • Tertiary armor colors - Black undersuits - A glowing visor - Changing the colour of your HUD - Cosmetic battle damage (bullet holes, plasma marks, gashes and scratches, damaged / missing armor panels, etc.) - Option to disable (ugly) armor decals for a cleaner look - Small miscellaneous items (I want my character to wear a long, tattered scarf)

tbh I hate visorless helmets, but that’s a cool idea. Maybe the color of the light changes based on the color of the visor you equip.

This is what I initially thought in the beginning of Halo 5.

Different tech suit models would be cool. I’d love to use Locke’s tech suit, with the glowing lines and segmented sections. I like the idea of glowing visors and lights. If 343i would change the shading and lighting of the Spartans in game, I think the “plastic armor” look would go away. Maybe a contrast between the armor portions and tech suit in regards to reflective surfaces- i.e. semi-shiny armor and muted, or matte tech suit.
