recently, there have been some heated debates regarding Halo 5 on waypoint and I noticed some of the forum members are receiving suspensions until 2552.
While I fully support suspensions/extended cool off periods for members who are trying to stir up the masses or intentionally causing problems, I believe issuing a lifetime ban to a fan of this franchise is wrong.
I would go so far as to say if 343i doesn’t make changes to this policy, soon, it will inevitably cause irreversible damage to the Halo community and its longevity.
Possible solution:
if 343i continues the “lifetime ban” rule, at the very least implement some kind of system of appeals or after 6 months a member can reapply to have their revokation removed.
