I am one of the many Halo 4 players who did not receive their specialization code even though I met all requirements. Played before November 20th, live in the U.S…blah blah. I could rant on about this and how bad 343 Studios is for just giving up on dedicated Halo 4 fans who didn’t receive their codes. They obviously did because they closed the official forum thread for this topic. But, I want to talk about a topic I haven’t seen very often.
Why did 343 Studios make it so you could level up so quickly? I mean I’m stuck at level 70 ,but
luckily I spaced out my playing time so I would not be capped too quickly. Except, I’ve heard from
people who have been stuck on level 70 since November 20 who still haven’t received their specialization codes. I can’t even imagine that. Further more, playing today, I’ve seen some players at level 120. Right now, the highest level possible is 130 with all specializations completed. This means numerous players could be capped at level 130 before 2013 even starts.
343 Studios should have thought this out more. They could have either made it harder to level up
or, made the maximum level somewhere in the 200s, not 130.
If you go to this URL below you can see a picture of a player who has already completed the highest level possible in Halo 4 without the game being a full month old (dated November 29th).

You would think 343 Studios would have anticipated this and made it a bit more challenging to
reach the highest level possible since people tend to play Halo games years after their release.
Hopefully, they will take notice and institute more levels or something to look forward to.
I hope I’m not the only one who has thought about this. I mean I would have been fine with not
receiving my specialization codes but still being able to play past level 70. It is just too frustrating
playing a matchmaking game and not receiving any XP or leveling up at all. No reward for playing
after you reach your level cap, which doesn’t take very long.
