Leveling up TOO fast? Or not enough levels?

I haven’t been grinding out in Halo 4 by any means, I play maybe 1-3 hours about 5 days a week, but I’m about 3 games away from breaking 50 all the same. I’ve been playing BF3 since day one on practically the same schedule and I only just broke Colonel about 2 months ago. Maybe the game is too rewarding and too forgiving, maybe 343 has more planned for the future (I hope) but I can’t help feeling a little apprehensive that this game has a very short term plan. I’m unlocking Master commendations left and right and I just think, “Already?” It doesn’t have the same sense of reward as Reach or Battlefield, and I’m afraid I’ll get bored of it the more I play. Every day I rank up and get cool new gear, whereas in Reach in BF3 it took me days or weeks to get the gun or helmet I wanted. It’s the same kind of feeling I get when I read a book too fast because I’m that into it and I can see the amount of pages shrinking as that back cover gets closer. I’m not alone in this, right?

The progression system could go for all I care. Stopped paying attention once I got all the weapons/AAs and CoD stuff I wanted.

And im a freakin 61… really? I’m almost done ranking up

Hitting max rank in a month is the stupidest s*** I’ve ever seen. The only thing that is going to keep me playing in the long run after maxing rank is the Commendations and going for 50’s on halotracker.com

There are definitely enough levels. They just made it to easy to level up. In each specialization you can get the first 5 levels in roughly an hour. They need to make it harder to level, add more playlists, bring back popular maps from each halo game, make a separate 1-50 ranked, and make some harder to obtain items etc.
