That is because, not many people have friends they can bother to do that with, and now that Microsoft, 343i, know it is possible it will be patched and removed most likely.
Considering, the Specializations will likely be released globally this month most people do not want to risk being banned or such over something so petty.
Why would you get banned? They made it so that DLC is shared between everyone and Specializations Priority Alpha is a DLC. A free one at that.

Where did you hear this? Can you post a link? Last I heard, 343i are waiting til the majority reach SR70 & there was no promise that they would unlock all the specialisations at once, which if you read between the lines, means 343i are likely to release them in stages.

I know, at least if our games night players switches over to my XBox when leveling they’ll be able to get past SR70 (that is, if we ever play it again, most of them want to stick with H3 & Reach).
This whole Specialisation saga has been a clusterfrell, I feel sorry for anyone who is stuck at SR70, now at least peeps in Europe, those who didn’t get their code & those who couldn’t play before Nov 20th have a workaround.
