does anyone know at what level we start unlocking weapons? which weapons are the first ones and at what level? I’m guessing assault rifle, Magnum and frags are default but is there a precision default weapon?
Nobody really knows because 343 probably will not talk about it, and at every gaming expo Halo 4 appears at, 343 pre-unlocks mostly everything.
I know for certain the BR isn’t available from level 1.
However, I find it highly unlikely there won’t be any precision weapons available from level 1 as it will give every low rank a major disadvantage. It will go against everything 343i have said about Rank = player style not player advantage.
I saw a video and i believed it showed the br being unlocked at major, that’s want think. THIS IS PROBABLY NOT A CREDIBLE SOURCE, so if i’m wrong don’t rage at me.
Great so for the first few levels( hoping not too long) we are probably stuck with assault rifles except for map specific loadouts that might have precision weapons?

If this is true i hope you step on a lego.
you dont rank up and unlock weapons but. when you rank up you earn spartan ponts. then you use those to buy weapons AA, tactical pakages,ect. but you unlock armor by ranking up in spartan ops and war games.

I wonder if the LE’s armor customization packet tells us when we unlock what armor and skins that way we know exactly what rank we need to get the armor we want.
The Battle Rifle is unlocked at SPR2.
Don’t fret though, there will be non-customization Loadouts containing map- and gametype appropriate weapons in the game.
The only choice you have in those are to either use them or not. They’re best compared to Halo: Reach Loadouts.
