Can anyone please explain why there needs to be a level cap? Once you’ve unlocked everything it shouldnt matter, right?

152 is the cap and it takes a long time to get there. It is nice to have a goal to reach

Same here lol I started off strong but then life decided I needed to do other things. So the time i play has reduced by half probably

I think by the time the majority of players get there the next Halo will be out or 343i will just increase the cap.

Some one mention this in another post some where. Halo 5 should have came with a get out of work for a month with pay pass!!

Its just milestones it doesnt effect gameplay, like armors and emblems

I would play more, but my wifi limit says “no”.

If there wasn’t a level cap, people would eventually get bored since there’s no end goal to reach. They also have to make the cap somewhat reasonable or there wouldn’t be a point in trying to reach the cap since it would take too long. 152 will take a really long time to get, but it is reachable.

Someone’s already there. I think he had 60+ days played when he hit it.

Yeah, that’s pretty crazy. There are also others in that rank area, but for an average gamer it could take a couple years to reach.
