Say what you want about the story, but I love the atmosphere in Halo 5, especially the “intermission” levels.
The intermission levels through off the exploritive atmosphere for me personally, I still prefer the asthetic of the older games but to each their own I guess. I am extremely excited for infinite because I feel like its atmosphere seems more like the natural evolution of halo from what I have seen so far but I guess time will tell on that front shortly.

the story of halo 5 is really cool to me.
It does have a good atmosphere and ambience, I’ll give ya that. Personally I wasn’t really a fan of the Intermission levels. Felt out of place, grinded the pace of the game to a halt, and really just consisted of wandering and listening til it was over. Felt like cutscenes they didn’t want to have to pay for animating so they made you play them instead. But that’s my take, and that said I liked the campaign overall.

I really hope this campaign is much better, the Halo universe has very good elements to create an interesting campaign, I just hope they don’t waste it like they did in Halo 5.
I certainly hope so. I’ve listened some of the soundtrack and I have very high hopes!

halo infinite has enormous potential and I really hope from the bottom of my heart that 343 will do its utmost to make us want to play this game for years to come.

It is understandable that being an F2P they prioritize the creation of content in the MP, and I hope that for that reason they do not neglect the campaign. Like Halo Wars 2, its recent (and last) expansion campaign was spectacular and motivated me to get it to enjoy it. Halo Infinite will probably have several expansion campaigns, but I hope they are just as good and not just empty content. The most logical thing is that this is the case, since the campaign will be the hook to attract people to get the gamepass or buy the campaign.
