Level 82, I’ve opened tons of bronze, silver and gold packs and still not one DMR. I know it’s all RNG but still sad panda for not one yet.
It was my last load out. Stay on silvers, you will eventually get it.
RNG is a cruel mistress. You need to systematically open REQs to maximize chances of getting rare DMRs. Don’t buy gold packs until silver packs start returning RPs instead of permanents.

I was a 98 before my first one I’m a 125 now and still don’t have them all.
Was almost so excited. Saw a rare permanent REQ that was a DMR… Nope just another DMR skin. Why must it be so cruel! I have 3 DMR skins other then the default and nothing to use them with. lol
I’m at the tail-end of 69 and I just unlocked my first DMR. I admit, I initially got excited, until I realized that it was a level 8 REQ DMR, and not one of the level 6 or 7’s. Sigh, this RNG is just nonsense.

Dude same. I was in the 70’s before I got the first one to pop and it was a legendary one at that. haha.
Play some warzone firefight…they were giving out quite a few gold req packs for commendations. I also feel like you can amass a lot of req points off this game mode. Especially with a boost.
I guess I was lucky, I got the basic one to unlock for me when my rank was in the 50s. Like others have said, you gotta just keep on opening up Silver packs and eventually you will get it.

You could have bought one of those “recruit” packs it guaranteed a dmr
Literally the day I said I will never get a DMR. One FF match later “DMR extended mag!”

Like others have said. Keep buying silvers. Stay away from Bronze and Golds. Silvers have a better chance of popping a Rare level unlock.
I don’t know if this Promo is still going but they were dealing out mega amounts of Gold Req packs for Fire Fight wins and completing the FF commendations.
I also feel this is good place to rack up req points (especially with a boost). You can get well over 2k points per match and the matches are shorter than a regular warzone game. Only issue is you will eat through your vehicles pretty quick. But hey, you got to spend money to make money right?
I was lucky and had 3 of them at rank 35-40. I started with bronze for about a week and decided it was nonsense. I went to silvers and got all kinds of good weapons way faster. I started using the boosts every game. I wait until I have 400/500k reqs and drop them all at once, then start saving again.

I do the same. Just hoard req points and buy a crap load at once.
It just took me a lot longer to figure out that I needed to be buying silvers. Instead of going Bronze I was going Gold. Once I went to exclusively silvers I started getting more loadouts at their base req level.
I just got my DMR, at level 82. That’s the beauty of the REQ system.
I got the extended mags version around SR 32…
I’m level 81 and have 6, sorry man, that’s RNG for you 
Don’t buy gold or bronze packs, only silver. You could also buy that new starter pack they came out with. I thought of buying it for the pistol.
I got it till lvl 89 :(. And dont get me started on Halo 2 BR i got that -Yoink!- untill 120
