As a resident of the UK and the owner of the standard edition of H4, I have been at the max level 70 for some weeks now. During this time I have completed many commendations but have obviously not recieved the points for reaching those particular milestones (ie headshot completion should give, I think, 10,000 points). I reckon that I must have had a total of around 100,000 points not awarded.
When the new specialisations are released to the UK, will these ‘lost’ points be awarded giving me a huge rank overnight? Or, have I permanently wasted them together with the opportunity to max out commendations again?
Nope you won’t get that exp. I mastered out a dozen commendations when I was stuck at 70 and got nothing for it when I got my code.
In all seriousness, 343 has been just downright shortsighted with their community related endeavors. They have been discouraging people from playing the game. I had hoped that they would still award you with your commendation exp and not your game completion exp, but that didn’t happen.
I feel for you, brother. Sucks for sure. But at least you’re progressing your commendations so you can unlock the related armor sooner than later.
Cheers for the reply shadowed…as you sort of say it would have been better to not have played, which seems to be somewhat short sighted. Roll on Halo 5!

EDIT: Hey, if Stiff73 is legit with his offer then there ya go. I love generosity. I would’ve given anyone my code if I knew what it did before I entered it in. Fail on my part. I thought it’d give an extra specialization on top of the 8 we had. Lol I feel dumb.

its anoying i know, the only reason europe never got the spec email is purely because the they where on offer as a pre-order bonus so to just give it out to everyone is unfair to the people that pre-orderd specifically for it… but, what about those LE buyers? tones of peoples bought LE because of such offer and then it was given away for free to millions of customers.
i was lucky, i had some XBL friends who purchased LE so when they got emailed there spec code(i know right?) they sent me one so i’m not capped at 70 and aer happily progressing through the levels.
is t just me or does no-one from europe actually play this game any more? time and time again i’m getting put on american host giving me a 2sec delay which is incredibly frustrating, wasn’t like this at launch.

I’m about to have the same exact issue, and it’s not like I’m going to stop playing a game that I enjoy just so I don’t complete challenges. I wish 2 more specializations would be unlocked for everyone just to tide us over.
