So this has been a bit of a nuisance for me. For a few weeks now, I’ve been frivolously working to unlock Req packs in hopes of unlocking some type of ranged weapon that I can use early on in Warzone, as it always seemed I was at a severe disadvantage when the BRs came out. Long story short, it seems that by Level 3 you should automatically unlock the basic BR that is useable by Req level 3. Well here I am at level 29, and nothing.
Has anyone else experience this problem? Any suggestions on how I go about fixing this? I know it was probably a hiccup, but I don’t exactly think I could just email 343 and they would send me one. Any help is appreciated. Thanks~
What req packs do you unlock? Go for bronze and silver
I’ve opened 30+ silver and gold packs. I’m willing to be quantity is not the issue when it should have specifically been included in a promotion pack.
Open bronze ones. You’ll get it
That hideous but yeah maybe you need to open dozens of bronze packs, perhaps you are aiming too high i dunno.

I think your confused about the difference between the SR and Req level. SR, which your level 29, is basically timed played. Req level is basically the energy level you aquired while in a Warzone match and goes away when the match is done.
Now BRs are Common through uncommon. So you should focus in getting bronze packs. For all you get is common and uncommon equipment from them. You won’t be getting any from Gold packs and silver will give you a harder time for they unlock everything from Common to Rare.
Does anybody even read what he wrote? He’s level 29 & doesn’t have the BR. You get the BR in a Commendation Pack for reaching level 3 as a Spartan Rank, everybody gets it. He does not have it. So I’d say your game is messed up as you’re supposed to get the BR in a pack that everybody gets around level 3.

Yup go for bronze. Easy to acquire, so you’ll be able to unlock a shït load

I get the difference between Req, SR, etc. The problem is that I never unlocked the basic BR from the commendation pack. It seems like I’m the only person who has had this issue, and I can confirm that my two friend’s both reached rank 3 and unlocked it.
What would I even do about this?
I open nothing but gold packs. I have got 2 different BRs, 3 different ARs . 2 different DMRs and 5 different SMGs. Also have the sniper, beam rifle, incinerator cannon.
I’m now level 37. Picked up the sniper and DMR around level 34. Everything else long before that.

^^^^THIS^^^^ Are you people honestly not paying any attention at all? As this person said, you DO NOT get the BR from a REQ PACK. You get it for reaching SPARTAN RANK 3. Did you seriously not notice that when you got it?
Have you tried contacting a dev on Twitter? I see them post on there and interact with people pretty frequently.
just open req packs XD. i got the BR at like level 2 lol, but im level 24 and still have no DMR
Don’t buy any gold packs until at least SR 70.

I started opening bronze packs to earn a number of ARs and SMGs, but nothing ranged. I unlocked a Sentinel DMR a while back, but as a Level 8 Req I hardly get to use it.
