Level 152

Anyone have thoughts on the amount of unused req points we acquire after completing all of our unlocks?
I mean i’m only level 145 unfortunately but having literally no use for a few hundred thousand req points seems a bit anti productive… wonder what luck wed have in making a change to be able to use them towards xp? seeing as a friend of mine just reached level 150 and did some math and without boosts she will need to play around 27 days worth of halo in order to achieve it. its no question how loyal most of us have been these past few years so maybe its possible?

Use them on Gold REQ packs to get XP boosts, sell the rest of the REQs you get.
Repeat.

They release the xp boost packs every few months. I usually just save up for them and skip regular req packs all together

I guess you could do that through buying REQ packs and using the XP boosts that you get from them.

Definitely just buy gold packs so you can keep getting xp boosts. They’re really helpful for getting to 152

Be nice if you could spend those points on cosmetics, or the voices of war req pack.

If you have everything unlocked and you still aren’t buying packs to get those XP boost or saving the points to get those legendary XP boost packs then that is on you for wanting to take the long road to 152. If you want to get to 152 in a shorter time frame you gotta keep getting packs to get those boost and play as much as the featured or double XP playlist as you can.

I would be 100% okay with spending them on the legendary boost packs but they arent readily available… unless I’m looking in the wrong place. Also, in the long run it may be even more beneficial to just buy gold packs or actually wait for the legendary boost packs but by point was more towards the people that continue to grind while trying to enjoy the dwindling community and have to average upwards of 1 million xp a day in order to get there. And them having a chance to reach that goal by having a potentially more efficient use of req points.

Actually we figured it out and most need about 100,000xp a day to get to 152 before infinite comes out “Holiday” next year. Which sure you cannot get 100k in XP every day but can be made up for by binge playing on other days.

It was an over all thing. Its easy to figure out though… Just subtract your total XP from 50 million XP and then divide by 60 which it’s about 60 weeks till “holiday” next year and that will give you about how much XP to get per week. Of course you can take the per week number and divide by seven to get a daily number. Right now if some one had 0xp, they would need about 833xp a week or 119k per day to get 50 million in 60 weeks.

When i was grinding to 152, with XP boosts i was averaging a little over 8k XP/WZFF game. Each game averaged about 12mins.

So on average that’s about 15 games/day taking about 3hrs (plus matchmaking wait time, so add another 90mins)

From which level? also back to the point of the daily need, that 60 weeks is pretty generous seeing as alot of these games are released early enough for black friday shopping. also a year worth of getting 880k xp per week doesnt even break 50 mil xp

Probably about 144. Should also say i usually finished in the top 3 (obviously with off days).

Recently i decided that spending that time just wasn’t worth it: i’ve been much happier and less bored since.

If you get 880k XP per week it will take you about 57 weeks to get to 50million XP.

When I was grinding XP I set a goal of 100k per day or 700k per week. I easily accomplished it by playing mainly heroic warzone firefight and the featured playlist. I opened gold and silver packs for boost. I kept a bank of XP for the special XP packs. I also grinded the bing/Microsoft rewards points so I could get the special XP packs in the Microsoft store for points and not money.( Although lately I haven’t seen the $5 gift cards but I guess you could get multiple $1.25 gift cards perhaps?). Getting to 152 isn’t that hard. Just really time consuming, especially if you choose not to open packs for boost. But also I will say this it’s very unimportant to get to 152. There is NO grand prize for doing so. All you get is an emblem… And it’s been said this “token of appreciation” in Infinite isn’t going to be much (we have been told it won’t even be exclusive armor). So odds are just something like an emblem or nameplate. So if you don’t enjoy H5 don’t worry about 152. Just play what you enjoy. Life is to short to grind a game you don’t enjoy for a long time for something that won’t matter.

yeah i heard about the reward… and its not that i dont enjoy the game anymore. just would be nice to have a chance to maybe use req points once you have everything unlocked. that was really my only thing. i know its time consuming, and the “weak” incentive being anything short of armor most likely wont encourage me to spend all of that time to get there. thanks for all of the info!

This.
I finally reached that conclusion very recently and have stopped grinding to 152.
