LEVEL 130 SPARTAN???

How the heck are some of these gamers at level 130 already?? This game has been out a month and even if you did have some double xp match points you would have definitely used them up before reaching halfway to level 130, not to mention the daily xp limit. Just don’t see how someone could rank up that fast legitimately.

I have also read where there is supposed to be a specialization that helps you build points faster but I have yet to come across that and I’m at level 68. Anyone know what I’m talking about??

130 is more than attainable in this amount of time considering double XP and the Fast Track tactical package that is available with the Pioneer specialization. Using Double XP and Fast Track will net you almost 15,000 XP per game in Spartan Ops.

Pioneer Specialization + Double XP + Spartan Ops matchmaking = just over 12000 EXP per game (if u spend at least 8 minutes)

It is possible. With 200 matches of double xp and fast track enabled as soon as I unlocked it. I made to 130 by the 23rd. I was fifth in the world to make it. Dont claim wrong doing because some of us have the option to play that much.

Spartan Ops Matchmaking + Double XP + Fast Track (Pioneer Armor Mod) + reaching the cap every day, plus getting the game a week early (some did legally) =

SR 130s.

someone doesn’t realise, every 10 levels after 50 are a breeze since each new spec teir is a new set of the same xp per level, so lvl 111 taks just as much as lvl 51, something around 8 thousand xp.

This. I made the mat and it’s required around 150 matches (22 per spec) to reach Sr130 doing this boosting while normal players would take around 400 matches of Spartan Ops with 3 players at Heroic.

You get 5950xp per spartan ops game every 8-10 minutes. It’s been a month. And that isn’t even factoring in commendations/challenges or double XP.

Leveling up in this game is easy if you are dedicated to doing it. Boring, but easy.

Sooo… Spartan Ops boosting, basically.

There may be one or two people who have legitimately reached the highest rank, I can’t say. Though, I’m a bit curious.

I don’t see why they would rush to rank cap. People complain about having nothing to strive for, and then many turn around and rush to get everything. I’ll never understand it.

There’s nothing wrong with being at SR130, of course. I’m just curious as to why you would rush to hit it as soon as you can?

130 is very easy to get to with 2x and fast track. With those two you get 13090 per game of spartan ops.

I stand corrected. I’m nearly finished with Operator and it looks like I’ll be taking on the Pioneer next in order to unlock the fast track specialization. I’ve used all my double xp matches so I guess I’m screwed there unless I change my gamertag.

i didn’t get the game on launch but the Thursday of that week and i got to 50 in a weeks time using double xp & grinding S.O.

i actually stopped using double xp and playing S.O. to slow down my progression from 50-70 so i wasn’t wasting xp and now i am stuck at 70 with no unlock code for the other specializations

with fast track & double xp you can earn 12k + a match…it is very possible to be a legit 130

Its not boosting if you are playing the game as it was meant to be played. I think the definition of boosting was lost somewhere.

Nowhere in these definitions is what we did, boosting.

I wouldn’t consider Spops boosting as it is an illegal term for video games… I would prefer to call if power leveling and grinding… it is not boosting as it is available to everybody

On the side note, some of us just wants to get over it. Leveling and playing at the same time i find it annoying. I just want to get over it and enjoy the game later. no more worrying about ranks. ya know what i mean.

Especially the Cap limit has been raised to 250-300k, more people will grind everyday

grinding does not equal boosting

^^^^exactly this, I just wanted to get all the specializations unlocked so I could figure out what goes with my playing style the best.

Dont forget the Weapons skins, Armor sets

Boosting is a subjective term, in my opinion. Once more, I never said it was wrong. I just want to know why people want to rush so hard to get to the rank cap.

I consider boosting to be when someone plays specifically for the sole intent of ranking up, and uses some if not all means of racking up experience at a faster rate consistently in the process.

So, people who have played virtually nothing but Spartan Ops because they wanted the easy experience and nothing more are boosters in my eyes.

Also, Urban Dictionary is not a valid source for anything. Everything on the website, is subjective.

And once more, I have never stated boosting as being a bad thing. If you want to do it, do it by all means. Boosting and Farming, to me are no different.

Boosting is only a bad thing when it hinders the gameplay experience of another. Such as boosters in Halo 3.

My friends and I using boosting as a universal term for anything related such as farming and power-leveling.

Spartan ops is basically xp grinding for most people but I don’t care.

Just relax and play the game everyone will become SR 130 sooner or later

I’m SR 77 (bought limited edition) and I din’t choose pioneer Spec. yet.
(I want the cool armor and weapon skins first: AR pistol BR etc.)

Boosting and farming are two completely different things.

You and your friends send me hate mail because of this thinking, stop. You are wrong to do it. I am a farmer, get it right.
