Played a couple of 2 v 2 games recently where the opponents were obviously very skilled and were running away with a win. Things however turned around towards the end with a few suicides on their part, off-target shooting and the game ended with a narrow margin victory for us. Could have been just how things turned out, but couldn’t help feeling as if we were allowed to win. Wondering if anyone else has noticed the same? If that’s happening, what could be a potential benefit of losing?
They could’ve just decided to let you win because you were losing. If you only experienced it once then its probably just them. There is no benefit to losing other then making the game end faster.
2v2 is one of my least favorite modes. I’ve only had 1 game where my teammate actually communicated with me and we still got face stomped into the ground. When I go from 20+ kills in team slayer to 4 kills in 2v2, I say screw that.
If they went from dominating you to a loss, it could have been that they wanted to make you not feel like crap, so they gave you some kills then after gaining some momentum, you guys played better and gained the upper hand.
