I used to not appreciate the mangler and disruptor, until I realized the disruptor can cause damage over time and something clicked in my head about the mangler just being a CE magnum without the scope.
Now the only gun I don’t find all that enjoyable yo use is the Commando, and that’s mostly because I miss what it’s trying to replace.

I could go for shorter matches, that’s about my own gripe so far. A few best-of-three oddball matches in a row and I’m about halo’d out for the day.
Aside from that I’m loving the game.
People are allowed to be upset about things they don’t like. When users don’t complain, we get Madden aka the same game every year.

I like ffa and a slayer playlist but I don’t understand the fascination with swat and fiesta. The amount of game modes is decent especially considering modern games I play have like 4 at most. The lack of content stems from lack of maps on btb and no other progression system other than battle pass. Would like a seperate leveling system other than battle pass. This will most likely come though. The game is fun, free to play, and has some decent sense of progression if you buy 9 dollars for the battle pass. Ranked and stat tracking through halo tracker is also an option.
hard to do so when the issues are major. and sides, if we stop, then that’s telling microsoft that we’re okay with this. and intern, microsoft will tell 343 to keep up the nonsense

To be fair H2 had ridiculously strong aim assist compared to CE and they ruined the magnum.

I still haven’t figured out the disruptor but they all feel good to use. Throwing fusion coils to bonk people is incredible as well. Honestly klonking someone with a coil > getting a kill with a gun.

Halo players certainly have a right to be heard in their feedback for the game but there’s no need to throw an ultimatum out there that is literally unenforceable and unlikely.

The campaign isn’t even out yet.
Multiplayer, for plenty of fans, is just a tack on anyways.
SWAT in particular is one of the more popular game modes. But it doesn’t matter what you personally like or if you only care about 4 playlists. Part of the draw of previous Halo multiplayer games was the large variety of both fun and social playlists, and competitive playlists. My personal favorite game modes are FFA and Double Team.
The point is that even though many of these playlists already exist as default templates within the game, they were meant to be rotated through instead of being accessible, purely for the purpose of driving up player retention and interest in limited time event store items.
I really loathe the “it’s free” excuse. The campaign is the same price as it ever was. Add the battlepass to that in order to be able to customize your Spartan like in previous games, and you are objectively spending more money for this game, for a fraction of the content that was available at launch in every previous game. The free to play model is a bad thing, not a good thing.

Free to play model is a wonderful thing for me and many others who just want to play some matches of Swat or infection every now and then.
Polygons don’t change that experience.

I mean its not like they had two previous failed titles 7 years in development and a year delay with no forge for 6months and campaign delayed but what do i know if you dont see the current state affairs i would consider taking off the headphones and listening to loud voices around you

Halo 4 and 5 were failed titles?
Halo 4 is my favorite of the series, and while 5 is rough there are parts that shine. Absolute pinnacle of grifball for the franchise.

Yeah except that until everyone complained about it, SWAT and Infection were meant to be special event playlists that showed up 6 weeks out of the year and weren’t available otherwise in order to drive FOMO purchases and player retention. That’s the whole point. It doesn’t matter if you don’t personally care about or buy cosmetics because the entire way that you interact with the content is based around the monetization because they have to use the content as a carrot to get people to buy things, so it DOES affect you.

Favoritism is not an objective point of view and yes halo 4 and 5 were failed titles we are not even relevant in e sports and we owned it before
