We have all spent the last two months, Yelling, pointing fingers, insulting 343 and/or making demands. We haven’t all necessarily done all these things. But we have done them as a community. Today, Today! It’s a glorious day! They have answered us, they have told us that they are listening. That changes will be made. Frankie said that we have a right as people who have purchased this game, to have a voice. And that they ARE listening. It will take time though. I want everyone, EVERYONE here. To just say a simple sentence of thanks to them. They are not perfect, they have made mistakes. But none of us are perfect either and as we all know hindsight is 20/20. They have answered us. Now, let’s encourage them and let them know that we believe.
You’re all missing the point of this topic. We’ve all shouted in anger, dissapointment and disbelief. I wanted to ENCOURAGE THEM.
This. I’ll “thank” them by buying the next 10$ map pack if I think the direction things are going is positive. I passed up the last map pack because I wasn’t happy with the way things are going, and whether I do so again depends on what steps 343 takes in the future. They can talk a big game but until we get hard specifics on what is being changed, it could all just be another load of bull.
They’ve had zero involvment with this community, zero. And now because Frankie said something I’m supposed to believe they care about what we say? Why doesn’t he say it on the forum? Why is there not a single person from 343 on these forums for that matter?
Look at other threads. BS Angel has posted in several threads today…including the Customs monstrosity. They have been communicating on NeoGAF and twitter mostly, and I don’t blame them. What with how childish everyone sounds on these forums.
I’ve heard that before. Seeing is believing but my money is staying in my bank account either way because I simply don’t care for the game anymore and I don’t want to keep wasting $80 every year on a crappy, laggy and overpriced X-box Live service.

Because he thinks we are not the fanbase, he is responding on neogaf. Same goes for every other 343i employee who find it more important to post on neogaf, reddit, etc.
@OT
No 343i has not earned my thanks, they still have a long way to go before they do.

You know that that is highly unproffesional and even more childish of 343i to ignore everyone here. Now what has BS Angel really said? That they are looking into things and will try to fix it soon? Last time they said soon it took them three months.
While I am pleased to actually see a response, I’m not going to thank them for doing their jobs, at least BS Angel for doing her job. Now if only the rest of them will migrate from Twitter and NeoGaf.
> After reading alot of these responses, I have to facepalm at the community. It is pathetic to see nobody believes 343 is going to do something.
We know they will be doing something, whether or not it will be good is a different matter.
I see people on here say they never listen but there are some things that just could not have been added unless they were listening. I just rarely bring it up because I’m too biased against H4.
In Halo 2, it was possible to delay a checkpoint by meleeing constantly. Halo 4 has brought it back!
In Reach, the Elites were pretty easy to beat up close because of their turning melee kick. I lobbied hard for it’s removal, now it’s gone, and the Elites are much more harder to dispatch up close.
And they fixed the marine’s melee, after 3 games of having no effect on enemies, it finally does damage.
This attention to small detail is truly marvelous. I just wish they didn’t listen in regards to Spartan Ops. Spamming high ranking enemies is just wrong.
I thought what they did in the bulletin was a classy move. The fact they humbled themselves a bit, acknowledged their mistakes – I can respect that. The fact they are posting more on their forums is also nice to see. Their stock is definitely going up in my book.
HOWEVER, before they can earn my thanks, they have to deliver on their word and then some. Just fixing issues that shouldn’t have existed in the first place won’t do it. That just earns them a, “Good job.”
