Lets talk strats

Early Game:

As soon as the match starts, pop a supply pad and select all units.

Use the vehicle to go to the nearest generator thing and capture it, the infantry to take the point A.

As you vehicle in en route to the geny, micro him over a base site and build a base

quickly move back to base and que one more supply pad and two reactors.

Take A and then pull your units out to go capture the two points on your side of the field, you’ll likely lose A but you’ll force the enemy to make a move and break their turtle.

As soon as base 2 is up, pop 2 supply pads and 1 reactor - this base is going to be your farm.

Start rushing for base level 2 on your main base.

Don’t forget to upgrade supply pads/reactors as quickly as possible.

Mid Game:

From here, make a choice in what you want to specialize in: Infantry, Vehicles, or Air. (For simplicity, I’m choosing Infantry, but all three seem to be pretty viable)

Pop a barracks and start rushing for tech 3 on that building.

begin scouting your opponent to see what they’ve got (Most of the time they’ll still have the hog/chopper and marines/grunts

Produce hard counters to what they have (Cyclops/Flamethrowers will absolutely booty blast the enemies starting army, and I have used them to wreck 1v2 when a teammate quit)

Continue to upgrade your farm.

Try to hunt down your opponent’s army as soon as you can - you have the counters and you probably won’t lose a single unit.

Start getting the general infantry upgrades ( +15% Attack and Health each time, up to level 3)

Don’t forget to upgrade your marines in case they pull out air.

Take a third base if you can spare the resources and you’re reasonably sure the enemy doesn’t have counters waiting for you

Late game

Build third base to have an additional few barracks and more farming

Begin to focus on hunting the other team’s units while taking points.

Keep the enemy scouted so you can adjust your production accordingly

Mass produce the -Yoink- out of flamethrowers/Elite Rangers, cyclops/Hunters, and marines/Grunt Squads

Finish upgrading if you haven’t already

If at any point you successfully wipe the enemy army, send the majority of your force to attack the enemy base while a few units cap, or at the very least, neutralize the control points.

As soon as you control enough points to where the enemy’s tickets will drain first (You might need to do some mental math to be sure) focus your entire efforts on laying siege to the enemy base.

If you have the resources to spare, you may want to consider focusing on getting Air or Vehicles up to speed.

Don’t worry if they’re slowly winning the siege - They still have to take all the points back and overcome the deficit you created from pinning them, and if you’ve killed a few bases, they’ll be very unlikely to outproduce your neverending onslaught.

Additional

I have yet to play with a teammate that had a mic, but one of the few times I did play with somebody useful, they tended to use air to support my infantry to great effect

I’m pretty sure this start can work with vehicles if you employ your counters correctly.

I didn’t mention leader abilities because it depends entirely on your tactical preference. For Cutter I’m partial to the ODST big drop with tanks and ODSTs because it can be used to quickly turn the tide, and it fits well with my spam strats.

I haven’t yet found a very good use for either hero

There are still a lot of combinations of units I haven’t tried, so expect the meta to evolve
