Before the Launch of Halo 5 Guardians we were promised 15 additional maps for FREE with the content updates.
So far we’ve only gotten 5 Arena Maps, and 3 Warzone/Assault Maps, that’s a total of 8 maps we have right now.
Arena: (Tyrant, Torque, Riptide, Overgrowth, Stasis) 3 of those being reskins, and remakes.
Warzone: Skirmish at Dark Star, Battle of Noctus, and the assault map variant of Battle of Noctus. That’s only 8 maps. Hog Wild better surprise us with the 7 maps that remain for us to be free.
In a Halo 5 ViDoc we were teased with a glimpse of Blood Gulch returning to Halo 5. We’ve yet to see anything of the sort. Every single BTB map is a Forge map. I love playing on a Forge Map just as much as the next guy, but we need official maps dedicated to BTB.
Hog Wild is the last known FREE update to Halo 5, other than the war zone Firefight, And… the teaser, doesn’t really show anything other than a few things.
Thoughts? Think we’ll get the promised maps we deserve as a community, or no?
Seriously though were is all the content they PROMISED! I’m getting really sick and tired of being swindled and ripped off by 343, I had really high hopes for this game but again for the 3rd time 343’s incompetence ruined what couldve been an amazing experience. We’ve already had SO MANY problems and H5 hasnt even been out for a year. I remember back then I could play Halo 3 until Halo Reach came out and Halo Reach until Halo 4 came out, but now it seems this game is gonna day before the end of the year. Unless in 343 pulls a rabbit out of the hat then I’m sure most of us can agree that Halo is not in the right hands as of right now. (I wonder if they can get sued for false advertisement?)

Million and one thanks to Hog Wild. Yay, now it comes in tiger stripe.
Either we’re getting a lot of maps in the last updates.
Or as someone pointed out ages ago when Bravo said we had gotten 11 maps, before Torque and so forth, they’re counting the BTB forge maps in as well, and the assault versions.
They also said we got 11 new gamemodes since launch when they released the Spartan’s Armory REQ pack yet all I saw was Grifball, Assault, and a bunch of weekend social gametypes. There’s a difference between the two.

Funny, cause I remember seeing that image for MCC, and the halo 5 vid docs went on about how they were focusing on 4v4 arena gameplay.
4v4 arena gameplay as in, btb was so much of a afterthought that they didn’t include it on launch.
we aren’t going to get any official BTB maps, it wasn’t the focus of the game.
One of the pictures 343 shown us told us we’d have 21 map’s at launch and 18+ maps post launch. Ya they forgot to tell us that many of the maps will be maps made with forge.
I don’t have a problem with the current map count, but I do hate when 343 lie to us or are miss leading.
