We all know that Halo 4 is so close to being complete that any ideas we have for H4 are too late to implement now.
Other than Spartan Ops episodes, I believe we will be seeing a lot of DLC for things like maps, forge, and other things along the way for the next few years until Halo 5 comes out. I think some of that DLC may already be close to being complete while other stuff is still being thought out.
Let’s get our ideas in early before it’s too late. What do you want in Halo 4 that you already know is not going to be shipped on the disc?
I’m hoping that as you get a dlc vouchers (so to speak) with the LE, there will be a majority with it and we can actually play the dlc. Think of Halo 2 dlc, you could go a few games without getting an original map. Mind you the dlc was free and was required for multiplayer.
I just don’t want to see the dlc as a waste of time and money.
Make a DLC playlist and keep it. I don’t want it to come down to hoping that everyone in the lobby might have it instead of y’know, just going to a specific playlist and being able to play it like that. People that pay for the map packs should be able to play them without worrying about it being “fair” to people that didn’t pay for them. If it isn’t “fair,” then quit complaining and buy the map pack. They go on sale frequently.
A armored assult dlc like battlefield 3, it would include gigantic maps, revolving around the use of vehicles, and some new vehicles ( pelican, cyclops, ect. ).
