Lets Talk Armor Customization.

I was wondering just how much are we going to truly be able to make our spartan unique? Reach improved upon 3’s upper torso only changeable armor but not much, the armor selection was impressive and I never saw anybody that looked exactly like me but it always bothered me that i couldn’t ever change the armor on my right thigh and gauntlet, no big deal but why not make it available?
Anyway I digress,But does anybody know to what depth will the Armor selection and placement allow us to customize our spartan?

I don’t want to play an RPG, having to customize my Spartan down to the tiniest speck. I think Halo 3 got it right.

What is the purpose of customizing your armor anyway? IF you are dying enough to notice your armor and how cool it looks, you’re doing it wrong.

I’m not too worried about armor customization.

Well some people like to be an individual,I know that aspect of humanity is being synthesized away by our nanny state but I still like being able to be unique and different from everyone else in my own way.

But maybe im just a hippie =)

I just hope we can still have helmet attachments, those were great in Reach! Though having the ability to choose which attachments you wanted from a list would be great rather than be stuck with two preset options.

That’s really silly bro. If you don’t want to pretty up your spartan, don’t then. But some of us do.

Right? i loved some of the attachements but most of them were not seperate and came with another one that just made the helmet look odd.

I want some in depth armor customization.

I love how passive aggressive the higher ranks are lol.

I liked Reach’s customization. There was a bit too many pieces, though, but I like how it’s more detailed than Halo 3’s system.

Then why did you click on this forum?

O.o

Anyways, I think they’ll get it right in Halo 4 with the amount of armor customization.

Reach had enough, but the pieces were not as diverse as Halo 3.

And if pre-order bonuses are anything to go by, Halo 4’s armor is nothing if not diverse…

Agreed, i really hope they have different types of armor, like heavy and light.
So far all the armor iv seen looks really cut down and puny = (

I want high customization for example

take a chest with Robot arm
add
-neck collar brace
-scarf hood
-right breast knife
-left breast knife
-left rib knife
-right rib knife
-lower back utility pouch
-lower back backer hip pouch(s)
-grenade belt
-back side grenade addition on belt
-Ua GS preorder center chest plate
-some weaponry down center back like the Katana

edit color’s for armor utilitys

Now I want this not only for self indulgence but because I appreciate finding different players with different appearances through out my games.

If people complain otherwise for customization its nobodys fault for wanting to get enjoyment through other matters than gameplay after-all people should want to stand out not blind in otherwise there is only one form of meaning when there can be more and that is just to one sided.
so please consider this before any comments get posted about disliking customization

It’s suppose to be like that because Spartan IVs are not as big or as strong as Spartan IIs.

Hell, they can’t even compete with Spartan IIIs.

That saddens me, i hate how every iteration of spartan gets progressively weaker and lamer…i still want beefy armor dang it!

Why is this?

The answer is the same as the question my crossword puzzle asked me…

What’s a five-letter word for Happiness?

Answer: Money

Story is that ONI wants 'em made cheaper.
