Let's talk about variants in forge

Now its a common thing that people want this in forge and I still don’t know why it isn’t allowed. People could say “it’ll take too long to code them in” but thing is, if they were bothered enough to put them in campaign, then why aren’t we allowed to put them in our forges, I think this would be a massive take on the gameplay as people will be more eager to fight for that specific variant cause they know its more better what you can find in anywhere else.

And just think about it you play a BTB and there’s a Hannibal Mantis to grab, now it’ll be pretty unfair if a team got it and they have nothing else against it, but you can just add stronger variants to counter the others.

Most people been asking this at the start and we’re 5 DLC’s in and we get pods, pelicans, more shapes, and effects. its nice they’re making the mapping more better but, gameplay comes first. Now again, people can say that im wrong and that mapping is more better than gameplay, but you got to remember that we want things to change the standard paste of the previous maps; adding interactions, advantage weapons/ vehicles, etc. it’ll make things more fun.

It’s all about money. We already know they can easily add weapon variants into forge/customs because they have already done it with the halo 2 br, halo CE pistol and gravity hammer. They won’t add any others though because then people won’t feel the need to buy REQ packs if they can just go play customs and use them for free. They might add them in the far future after REQ sales dwindle so ya better get patient.

I disagree with the argument that players would just use them in customs and not buy req packs. Customs is not matchmaking, it doesn’t take away from matchmaking either.

I love getting more props for forge, but I would be very satisfied to get the remaining weapons and vehicles that are currently only available in Warzone.

When they finally become available, it will be nice to actually test out the true differences freely as well as create some special maps designed around specific reqs (Like a big team map remake of Avalanche with Arctic themed vehicles)
