Lets talk about weapons. To me a good variety of weapons with a boost of power, use and overall balance is what is key. If you can have 10 balanced weapons then it’s a lot better then 5 balanced weapons, which are both better then 30 -Yoink- balanced weapons. Get my point. It’s about balance and use, Not really the number.
To me weapons need a fix. Some weapons are too damn weak and useless now. Instead of getting rid of them, fix em. So here’s my ideas.

This is just my opinion. And I understand unlike my Vehicle post this may not be be as easily agreed upon. Weapons have much more to worry on. But I’m just one manguy.

The general structure of weapons
Power: This is general Power. Of course. It’s on two tiers
L=Light
M=Medium
H=Heavy
Then
Light
Medium
Heavy
Example: A gun could be L-Light. L-Medium. and so on. It’s really just adding more depth.
Range: A little more simple. Close Quarters, Close, Mid Range, Long Range, Top Range.
Rate of Fire: How fast it shoots. Quick, Auto, Semi, Single Shot, Pumped/bolt/etc, Slow.
Bonus: This is things like Scopes, Splash Damage, Stun, Triggers, Etc.
Restrictions: Pretty much what balanced it. Such as recoil, long reload times, etc.

GUNS ON THIS PART (part 1)
Battle Rifle
DMR
Carbine
Needle Rifle
Plasma Rifle
Brute Shot
Spiker
Battle Rifle.
Power= L Medium
Range-Mid Range (prime)
ROF: Single Shot (Burst)
Bonus: 2x Scope, Burst Fire.
Restrictions: Controlled/unrandom recoil. Bullet spread at MAX RANGE.
DMR
Power= H Medium
Range-Long Range
ROF: Single Shot (Slower)
Bonus: 3x scope
Restrictions: Limted at close range. Low bullet count.
Carbine
Power= M Light
Range-Long Range
ROF: Semi Auto
Bonus: 2.5x scope, Fast ROF, Fast reload. .5% stun on target (Wont notice it unless you get hit enough)
Restrictions: Slight recoil, Weakest of rifles (well single shot style lol)
Needle Rifle
Power-M Heavy
Range- Close (about 3x more then what a needler can track at)
ROF: Single Shot
Bonus: 1.5x scope. Can kill an unshielded target in 3 shots, regardless of where it’s fired. Splash damage of a super combines target can also damage nearby players.
Restrictions: A short range rifle. Enough said.
Plasma Rifle
Power: H Light
Range-Close
ROF: Auto
Bonus: 5% stun on target. Does massive damage on shields.
Restrictions: Still generally weak. Low range. Overheat.
Brute Shot
M-Heavy
Range-Top Range (but arched)
ROF: Single Shot
Bonus: Slight splash damage. Can do good damage on vehicles. Blade
Restrictions: Slow ROF, Low bullet count, Long reload time.
Spiker
L-Heavy
Range-Close
ROF: Auto
Bonus: 2% stun. Massive damage to flesh. Blade.
Restrictions: Recoil, Spike Spread, Range.
