While playing the other day I shot a warthog with 3 people in it with the spartan laser. Here I expected a easy triple kill, but turns out I only got one kill out of it because the other 2 people got ejected. First I thought they were cheating or something or they got out fast enough. So I played it back and watched as the vehicle blew up and they just flew out. I asked around and found out about the new survivor perk. Honesty it haves to be the most unfair perk in the game. There’s already enough vehicle perks to start with but to just add in one that helps them escape is just complete BS. And that’s not even the worst part, the fact they get ejected full shields is what makes it worst. Not only do they escape a vehicle blowing up, but with full shields as well. How fair is that? Honestly 343, if you’re gonna keep the perk at least make it so they are ejected either half shields or no shields. But not full shields.

That’s what happens when you have vehicles made out of paper and a terrible abbility to spawn with PP’s and Plasma nades (Tho i think plasma nading a vehicle wills till net you the kills)
They had to do something to make vehicles at least usable.
I think a better implementation of such a perk would have been to change the “exit vehicle” button to an eject button.
In case I’m not being clear - without perk, you press a button to enter the vehicle and there is an animation with takes a little bit of time, and if you want to exit the vehicle, you press the same button and an exiting animation happens.
The Survivor perk should have been a conscious decision - if you sense that your vehicle is in trouble, you can instantly eject from it.
The animation and behavior would be the same as currently implemented, with the exception that it wouldn’t be an automatic exit if you didn’t see the laser / rockets / last sniper shot / etc. coming.
But survivors DON’T get ejected with full shields… The explosion always deals some sort of damage.

And tosses them in the air like armored clay pigeons.
grabs LR
Easy targets.

Or grab the Snipers/Rockets. PULL!

They could have just buffed the vehicles health and take out the PP’s and Plasma Grenades in the Loadouts, it was just fine in Halo 3 if you ask me. I mean, I could actually get in a Warthog and not worry that someone not coming up with a Plasma Pistol and Plasma Grenades because they changed their loadout for that, they actually had to find one…
At first it bothered me but I’ve come to find the ejected player usually takes damage from the explosion and is easy to kill.
