Let's talk about the DMR :

Let’s face it : The DMR needs a nerf but before you start yelling at me let’s me tell you what kind of nerf it needs.

The DMR needs a biger spread like in reach because in halo 4 it is a laser beam.

I think it’s valences but if you guys think it isn’t I say Nerf te killtime to just over 1.8 so in close/mid the Br will win and the dmr’s scope will make it viable at long ranges simply because it has a 3x scope

The DMR doesn’t need to be nerfed. There was a vote here yesterday and it was some crying 12 year old boy like you who posted the thread and the votes ended up something like 65% against nerfing the DMR. If I find the thread I’ll post it here

The gun just needs to be rebalanced. Not the way you described, at least not exactly. Unscoped, this gun needs to be a bit less accurate, a DMR should not be tearing up ARs in close range fights. That is simply ridiculous. While scoped it should have the same level of accuracy it currently has but with a slightly decreased rate of fire (alternatively, keeping the rate of fire the same and making it a 6sk would also work).

No, it doesn’t. The DMR is fine as is with the small exception of mag size (should be 15). The BR, Carbine and LR all need to be BUFFED.

Adding stupid randomness =/= balancing or nerfing.

Ever wondered why people hated Reach so much? Bloom was one of the key factors.

Short & Sweet: Every weapon is a specific role for the purpose that it was made. Creating a weapon in the game that does the same thing, might as well be the same weapon with a different graphical skin. Asking for the DMR to be nerfed would offset the game in the guidelines that it was made. DMR seems over powered to people because of the fact that it is indeed a precision weapon unlike the BR.

Where does the DMR suffer? Close Quarters. The BR’s 3 round burst allows players to adjust fire in those close situations where as the DMR lacks if player misplaces one of there shots.

How about getting rid of the recoil on the Br? I think this is a better choice. Also adding more damage to the carbine.

Jeez, the guy wasn’t being rude about it. No need to post an insulting message like that :/.

And I personally think it’s fine for now. Let’s give it a little bit longer in the field and see where it stands.
