The exact same code from Halo 3 that has never been deciphered, has been spotted multiple times in the Infinite campaign at pretty significant moments. What could it mean?
I have a lot of harsh criticisms about the game but this is the type of thing that gives me hope that there are some staff at 343 who are actually fans of Halo. The lore that is hinted at beneath all of the stretched out dialogue and cringey love stories in this game is so dank. I wonder if 343 knows of any deeper meaning behind the code or if this is just an easter egg and something that will remain un-resolved.
Here’s hoping they don’t ruin it and make it into something corny anyway, wouldn’t surprise me with how things have gone for the last 10 years. The fact it is right there in the final boss fight seems pretty huge though, no?
