What has been clear for quite some time now is that Halo 5 is a bit content thin compared to previous releases. This is offset, for the better in my opinion, with the constant ability for updates to bring in more content at a steady rate. This should allows the community to decide on what features they want first, assuming we’re not all too busy complaining about how the maps are too blue or how sprint makes the game literally unplayable.
Thus, with the ball in our court, what should we make a play for? I’m hoping for Infection to launch with Forge, but I’d love to see Ricochet, 1 flag, assault, and a plethora of other gametypes return.
In addition, and I don’t think I can emphasize this enough, I would love even some basic tools for making custom games more visible. I’d even go as far as to say skip social playlists all together and divide matchmaking into Ranked and Custom Game Server Browser, but we all know that’s a pipe dream at best.
So what does the Halo community want? Write it down here and lets make it visible.
I want the basic playlists and gametypes like in Halo 3 or Reach. Also Action Sack. And more normal BTB maps would be nice. And a better story but it’s too late for that isn’t it?

-EVERY fan-favorite gametype from Halo: Reach, Halo 3, and Halol 4.
-Halo: Reach’s plethora of custom game options
-Fully functioning Theater with campaign support
-File Sharing system (preferably one that fully works this time, 343i)
-A good balance of 8-player and 16-player NON-FORGE maps
-Social Playlists
It’s a start. Should have been this way at launch, but too late for that.
I want breakout removed from arena and replaced by team oddball or KOTH or one flag CTF, more arena maps (non forged) more warzone maps and a UNSC flying vehicle. Plus mk IV, V and the legendary CE weapons.
If we can get some of those AMAZING casual Halo 4 playlists like Ricochet and Regicide along with old classic like KOTH and Oddball Id be content. Maybe fix BTB Slayer spawns, too. Spawning on other teams bases isnt fun and kinda ruins the Halo aspect of it in favor for COD.
