Lets Start Over, Staring with the UI

UI isn’t something you really should notice. It should just flow, and react seamlessly with the player. I have never complimented the UI of a past Halo game, nor complained. But Halo 4’s UI is about as intuitive as filing taxes.

  • Everything is too buried, the challenges, the commendations. You can’t see other people’s commendations. Too many layers, less up front on the player card.

  • As the party leader, back out of searching, and the game has a 2 to 3 minute seizure, switching back and forth between menus.

  • As the party leader, back out to restart search results, do it quickly, and you’ll notice, for whatever reason, you always select the playlist BELOW the one you intended.

  • How about a little bit of text reading “…has joined the party” when they actually join, rather than 3 or 4 minutes later.

  • Turn down the music! I think its great, but its too loud in the main menu

  • Team Regicide, Ordinance HUD markers are all messed up, mostly on Haven

  • Dominion HUD markers are like nice “suggestions” Want a laser? I know it says laser, but how about frag nades.

Halo 4’s game play needs some fixing also, this can be a great game, it just needs somework. I’m concerned with anyone, who played Reach, then took this UI for a test drive, and said “yeah, I like it, this works”

OP actually stated valid problems that need to be fixed. I’m sure a patch will fix the gameplay problems, but the limited details in play cards might not change.
