We can agree that Halo 4 is becoming more similar to CoD, yes? Multiplayer gameplay-wise.
Some examples:
Weapon/AA unlock system is similar to CoD, arguably the same.
Class system
Instant respawns
Tweaking/choosing classes in game
Sprint
AAs (similar to perks)
So, I’d be willing to say that roughly most of us would agree that CoD is a “bad” game, or at the very least, is a terrible game for competition, yes?
Even if Halo isn’t technically “copying” off of CoD, tell me why it isn’t becoming like CoD, and incorporating the same features that make CoD uncompetitive, and a strictly social/casual game?
> You understand that CoD didn’t invent ANY of those things right? WTF is with Halo fans. It’s like they’ve only ever played two games.

Ha, you didn’t even read my post!
If you did, you would know that we’re assuming that Halo technically isn’t copying off of CoD, but you didn’t!

I haven’t played the game yet or have seen actual footage of this feature, so I can’t say. Personally, I hope Customizable Loadouts only appear in Spartan Ops and in Custom Games.
CoD had loadouts, not classes. Classes are usually sets of weapons and equipment where you have to adopt a different play style, and only one class could use a specific piece of equipment. In CoD, you could have five LMG loadouts if you wanted to.
Hopefully Instant Respawn only applies to certain gametypes. It’d be pretty difficult to defend the flag if the enemy team didn’t have a respawn time.
Again, I have yet to actually seen this feature in action.
Like Call of Duty was the first series to come up with the idea of running faster.
Perks are passive abilities. AAs are context sensitive, you have to activate them for them to work. You aren’t going to involuntarily spawn a hologram every time one enemy does so much as looks in your direction.

MV BLACK OPS… you didn’t need to start the argument again. And, you are the one feeding him. While you may have different opinions, this topic was doing fine.
And… Keep It Clean. No more talk about your girlfriend or Yoinking people. Stay on topic.

2.) It doesn’t really matter what we call them. Halo will also have loadouts, and yes, we won’t be able to spawn with power weapons, but that’s just common sense.
3.) Hopefully…
4.) Well, it is confirmed.
5.) It doesn’t matter. CoD has it, therefore Halo is becoming more like CoD. It many not be copying CoD, granted, but it’s becoming more like it.
6.) Either way, AAs and perks both give players situational advantages. Doesn’t matter how they work, or what they’re supposed to do. We also know that they’re unlockables.
For the record, I’m perfectly willing to have a civil debate without getting into a flame-war. Hope you’re thinking the same.
> The only thing I learned reading this thread is that the Op’s mom is taking a shower or something.
Its best for you to act as if you never read that. Just part of an argument the OP and someone else were having… an argument that was getting a little out of hand.

It’s not the features themselves that makes a game “casual” or “social”, it’s how they are implemented.
In COD, you can choose any weapon you’ve unlocked for a custom class. Halo 4 will be very restricted to basic rifles and pistols (unless the gametype calls for something different).
