now a few months ( might even have been a year) alot of big you tubers did “populate halo 3 day” this was an ahmazing time, the most fun i have had since halo 3 was the domant force for online game, but it made me ask myself a question, why did we almost all stop playing? almost ever single person on this forum loved the game and within the next couple months microsoft is putting it on marketplace for free, so i prabose we just quit -Yoinking!- about how this and that are bad on halo 4 and just go back to halo 3, i mean who needs a pit remake when we have the original?
The population will pickup hugely when the game goes free regardless. There is no need for yet another ‘repopulate’ event which draws people into the game for a day or so before they lose interest.
You missed what i was saying, dont just doit for a day replace it with whatever game u play the most now, like so many people do with 4 while complaining about how much better 3 was.

I know what your intention was, and it won’t work. Like I said, the games population will increase once it becomes free.
People won’t drop Halo 4 or Reach and then instantly go back to Halo 3. There are many glaring issues such as connection, cheaters, derankers, netcode.
The game is nearly six years old.

jw, when the game comes free, when you download it do you get all the map packs aswell? 
cos if so i will cry cos i just bought ODST for the mythic disk
anyway i hope it does boost the population cos halo 3 needs to go out with a lasting farewell on the 360 seeming it was the best halo on the 360 and to me the best game on 360 along with Cod4 and when they bring it back on Xbox|one you reckon theyll re-do the graphics?
